We all ask “who am I and why am I here? Today’s reading finds a 12-year-old Jesus staying behind in Jerusalem after the Passover. This passage is a pivotal change in the relationship between the child and His Father. We also see that the relationship between Mary, Joseph, and Jesus begins to shift as they recognize the purpose for their lives.
