Ysleta Lutheran Mission Human Care

Our Lenten offering will be designated to Ysleta Lutheran Mission Human Care, in particular their Refugee Care Ministry.   
Ysleta Lutheran Mission Human Care is a faith-based organization that provides relief and human care services while planting and nurturing missions on the U.S./Mexico border specifically in the El Paso/Juarez region.  YLM provides aid and ministry services that benefit the lives of thousands of people every year.  Their mission statement is “Changing lives every day through simple acts of kindness.” 
The Refugee Care Ministry partners with other organizations such as the Rescue Mission of El Paso and the Opportunity Center of El Paso.  These organizations are working side by side with other El Paso      shelters, helping to relocate these refugees within 48-72 hours.   Through our prayers and support, YLM can continue to be a source of encouragement and practical acts of kindness to the displaced who are seeking to find a better future in the United States.
