Our Beliefs
Who we are and what we believe.

We understand that we are called to participate in God’s work, to be a light that shines in the darkness for all of those in need, telling about God’s love and saving grace to a world that hungers to hear it. Jesus said, “As the Father sent me, so I send you”.

Following a spiritual journey, inviting everyone along in our congregation, we moved forward with a set of Biblical Guiding Principles that helped shape a clearer understanding of who we are and who we boldly want to be. The process involved looking with new eyes at how we live our lives. We asked God to “mold new people out of old ones, and make all things new”, closing with the Lord’s Prayer, pausing after “your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as in heaven.”

Our Mission Statement and Guiding Principles remind us of God’s call to mission and service, and to hold us accountable to them. We confess our faith in God that we all have been given gifts to use in ministry to do good work.'
