Rev. Chris Peterson
Pastor
Pastor Chris was born and raised near the Lutheran Vatican in Minneapolis, MN. He is the son of a Lutheran minister; baptized, first communion, confirmed, married, all in the Lutheran church. He attended college at the University of Wisconsin-Madison studying history and ancient languages. Upon graduation, he studied in Jerusalem which was a life changing experience for him. It was also in Jerusalem that he met another student studying overseas, a girl from Ellensburg, WA. named Alisa who eventually became his wife!
After spending a year in Israel he started seminary at Princeton and graduated in 1998. He has served churches in Bellevue, Michigan, Mississippi, Georgia, and the Bay Area in California.
Pastor Chris and Alisa live in Ellensburg with their two children, Liam and Jane. They also have other family in the area. Alisa is a clinical social worker and works for Kittitas Valley Hospital as a mental health counselor. They love movies and traveling (especially where there is good food), and one of Pastor's passions is photography!

Kathy Sebree
Deacon
Deacon Kathy and her husband Jim have been members of Christ Lutheran Church since 1979. Their children, Jim and Crystal, were confirmed in this church. Their granddaughters, Katie and Sheila, were also baptized and confirmed at Christ Lutheran.
Deacon Kathy was ordained as a Minister of Word and Service on August 14, 2021, serving as the Minister of Administration for the congregation. Her heart lies in social ministry and her call is to help lead the people of Christ Lutheran outside of the building and into the world to serve those in need.
