Temptation tests our faith and dependance on God. In the temptation of Jesus, Satan uses Scriptures to cause doubt that God will provide Jesus’ needs, for his safety and evens offers Jesus a short cut. It was more than a loaf of bread when you’re hungry, or an easy way out of a situation. Temptation makes you choose between your will and God’s will.
